Professionalism
Professionalism is being able to reach out to colleagues to ask for opinions and research in a higher professional setting to understand how to be a better teacher. Having this research and taking your colleagues opinions into consideration, you can form opinions on different issues. In doing this, we can grow and improve our schools while adhereing to state and national guidelines.
Artifact
Below are assignments that I have collaborated with my collegues and helping advocate for issues that we are passionate about.
Dear Honorable Martha Roby
This artifact is a letter that I and a partner wrote to Congresswoman Martha Roby about the lack of funding in special education. Special education can be forgotten quickly by those who are unaffected by the benefits of special education. We must take charge as educators and remind those in charge to not forget about these amazing special education programs.
Infographic
The artifact presented is an infographic covering the book, "We Want to do More than Survive" and the issues we read within the book. An infographic is an orgainzed and creatiive way for students to be able to present their information they have learned. When collabing with my group, we traded ideas that stood out to us. Thus, bringing about ideas that might not have considered before.
