Content Knowledge
As a teacher, one needs to immerse themselves in the content and understand the themes and ideas they are teaching to their students. Having this deeper understanding of the material allows for the teacher to better relate the information to students and give them a stronger "real life" application.
Artifacts
I have attatched a couple of artifacts that demonstrate my understanding of the content taught in my core classes. I will be using the skills and concepts learned in these classes in my own class.
Western Civilization Reflection
This artifact is an example of my ability to create a writing based on readings presented to me. I will be able to apply this skill by showing my students how to create these essays based off of verious topics that they could be presented with.
English Composition I
The artifact below is a research paper where students will leave the reader wanting more and ready to dive deeper on the subject of their paper. This will enable the students to think more deeply themselves about their topic in order to pose the more thought provoking questions.
